Residence M24/7

Residence M24/7 is a project aimed at supporting children and artists. Because children are artists, and artists are children, and anyone can be in the position of an artist or a child. Our task is to branch networks of care and mutual support, to grow the future.
M24/7 is a two-tier residence with a total area of 180 m2 in St. Petersburg.
Our mission is to support artists and people of creative professions and aesthetic education of children and youth, including the social adaptation of orphans and children left without parental care through art. The residence provides artists who are not able to rent a studio for work and creativity on their own, premises on preferential terms. In exchange, the residents of the workshops hold cultural and educational events with children, including classes aimed at the socialization of orphans. The content of these practices can be very different (depending on the nature of the residents’ activities): painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, video, theater art, dance, performance, working with sound, theory and history of art.
The selection of participants for the project takes place through an Open Call. Consideration of applications is carried out on the basis of the portfolio and the enthusiasm of applicants to help the development of the project.
